We are a friendly, thriving society which aims to increase the enjoyment of the decorative and fine arts and to support our cultural heritage.
There are lectures by experts on a wide variety of art-related topics. These take place at the Henry Wellcome Building, University of Leicester (coffee and biscuits from 7.00pm £1.50). These meetings start at 7.45pm on the fourth Wednesday of most months.

We also have social events, and organise visits and study days to country houses, art galleries, museums and churches. Each year we also have a two-night away visit.

LATEST NEWS – The Young Arts Group linked to the LeicesterDFAS is in the news. NADFAS have filmed the group and the film will be published as a podcast on the NADFAS web site shortly, probably in May. As soon as it is available to view we will let you know – keep watching this space.
