Heritage Volunteers
An enthusiastic group of heritage volunteers meets regularly and works to assist professionals in several areas.
At present the volunteers’ main project is at Wigston Record Office cataloguing architectural drawings in 19th century planning applications.

Previous projects have included cleaning books in the antiquarian section of the University of Leicester library and cataloguing artefacts at the Newark Houses Museum.
