I wish to express my thanks to the committee for organising the recent Social Evening.

Organising and putting on such an event is hard work and I thank everyone who was involved in making it so enjoyable.  The museum staff were excellent - helpful and very informative about the current exhibition which were able to see, even through we ‘ran over’.  The food was first class too.

I look forward to next year Society Evening with the return of Bertie Pearce.   TG

I recently visited The Hub in Sleaford to see the exhibition of Vivienne Westwood shoes.  This exhibition links in rather well with the talk in March "The Rock and Roll Era: Pop Art in the Swinging Sixties".  Another exhibition at the same gallery is about menswear with some marvellous photographs from the same period.

The hub is a small but attractive gallery with a very good restaurant, on a sunny day you can eat your lunch sitting outside beside the river, don’t forget to feed the ducks.  Exhibitions and gallery both highly recommend.         JR
